E-Commerce Manager

About the role

The E‑Commerce Manager will position the hotel’s brand website as the primary channel for electronic distribution and enhance the overall digital presence of the property. This role works closely with revenue, marketing and corporate teams to drive online sales, maintain brand consistency and optimise user experience across all digital touch‑points.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate property content and presentation on the brand website, GHA portals and third‑party distribution sites.
• Analyse website statistics, report on KPIs and act to achieve targeted sales and distribution goals.
• Ensure brand‑consistent delivery across social and digital channels, including mobile site updates.
• Monitor rate parity and collaborate with the Revenue Manager/Director on pricing across electronic channels.
• Coordinate website enhancements, functionality upgrades and content updates in multiple languages via the CMS.
• Create and publish promotional offers, special packages and local experiences in partnership with Marketing and Revenue teams.
• Optimise SEO elements such as meta descriptions, tags, keywords and monitor search‑engine rankings.
• Produce and distribute corporate email newsletters, analyse performance and manage guest segmentation.
• Manage social‑media channels, respond to online reputation tools and implement e‑marketing initiatives for key feeder markets.
• Track brand name hijacking and support the annual digital advertising plan.

Required profile

• Experience managing hotel website content, digital distribution and e‑commerce initiatives.
• Ability to work collaboratively with revenue, marketing and corporate departments.
• Strong analytical mindset for interpreting website data and KPI reports.
