Event Management Specialist

About the role

The Event Management Specialist will plan, coordinate and deliver a wide range of events for Al Madina Azarqa, including corporate launches, press conferences, community initiatives, exhibitions, sponsorships and CSR activations. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will own the end‑to‑end operational delivery of each event, ensuring brand consistency and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director in creating the annual events calendar and provide input on timelines, logistics and vendor options.
• Manage pre‑event activities such as venue sourcing, supplier briefing, collateral preparation and internal stakeholder alignment.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, run‑of‑show documents, task checklists and an up‑to‑date events tracker.
• Source, brief and coordinate agencies, venues, AV suppliers, caterers and other vendors; evaluate quotations and manage contracts.
• Lead on‑site coordination, acting as the primary point of contact for vendors, venue staff and internal teams, overseeing set‑up, breakdown and guest registration.
• Ensure post‑event reporting, capture lessons learned and maintain a vetted vendor database for future use.

Required profile

• Hands‑on events professional with strong organisational and detail‑orientation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining brand standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
