Executive Director – Head of GTx Oman

About the role

The Executive Director – Head of GTx Oman will lead the execution of FAB's Global Trade (GTx) strategy across Oman. Based in Muscat, you will work closely with the FAB CEO, coverage teams and product specialists to develop and grow trade and cash business for local and inbound/outbound clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients together with coverage teams to build GTx business and achieve revenue targets.
• Structure and deliver innovative GTx solutions that meet customer needs.
• Provide technical expertise to relationship managers and lead bespoke solution structuring.
• Collaborate with Cash Management and Trade Finance product teams to finalize documentation and roll out new products.
• Gather market and competition feedback to enhance FAB's product offering in Oman.
• Partner with coverage teams to develop client account plans, credit proposals and maximize market share.
• Ensure timely execution of transactions, coordinating with compliance, finance, operations and implementation teams.
• Identify and manage fraud, regulatory and compliance risks, and proactively manage transactional risk.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes and practices based on market trends.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in global trade, trade finance or related financial services.
• Strong commercial drive with a proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of GTx products, cash management and trade finance solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across a regional network.
• Solid risk management mindset and familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
