Executive Management Officer for Solar Power Plant

About the role

The Executive Management Officer (EMO) will lead the construction, operation, and overall management of the Ibri solar power plant, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and reporting obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement approved infrastructure and business plans using project management and financial controls.
• Oversee EPC and O&M contractors, monitor construction progress, quality, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Report to the Board of Directors on operational results, risks, and strategic matters.
• Manage fiscal affairs, financing arrangements and capital structure of the corporation.

Required profile

• B.Sc in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering and a degree in Business Management.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in power plant management, including at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record in planning, developing and executing sustainable, profitable business plans.
• Extensive experience with construction and operational management, board and government relations, HSSE, finance and marketing.
