Field Service Representative - Fluid Performance

About the role

Halliburton is hiring an entry-level Field Service Representative for its Baroid product line in Muscat, Oman. The role is full-time and involves supporting fluids, separation and waste management services at drilling rigs under strict supervision. No previous work experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with fluids and equipment supervisors and technical professionals to understand rig operations, company products and services, fluids, separation and waste management technologies.
• Complete a formal training program covering fluids chemistry, volume and hydraulics calculations, routine and specialized testing, separation equipment theory and application, and well site service.
• Learn to operate, maintain and optimize Baroid equipment, including testing, separation and waste management equipment.
• Prepare and track inventory of palletized products and equipment spares at the rig site according to the drilling program and anticipated conditions.
• Assist in interpreting routine and specialized test results to provide technical solutions, and help operate some separation and waste management equipment.
• Comply with health, safety and environment regulations and act professionally as a Halliburton representative with clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or another related Bachelor's program.
• No previous work experience required; this is an entry-level position.
