Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will provide strategic financial leadership to Asyad Logistics’ domestic operations, driving financial planning, performance management, and value‑based decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic and operational objectives.
• Provide forward‑looking insights on industry trends, regional markets, risks, and opportunities.
• Oversee financial and management accounting, performance analysis, and MIS reporting.
• Drive profitability, cost optimisation, and working‑capital efficiency across business units.
• Partner with commercial and operations teams to align financial planning with expansion strategies.
• Manage the annual budget, rolling forecasts, long‑term business plans and ensure accurate consolidation across entities.
• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with IFRS, group policies, and regulations.
• Establish KPI frameworks and performance dashboards for local operations.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits, and liaison with external auditors, banks, and regulators.
• Strengthen risk‑management frameworks covering credit, operational, and financial risk.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of business performance, profitability, cost efficiency, and ROI.
• Direct design and delivery of MIS reports and executive summaries highlighting trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Promote adoption of advanced tools, automation, and best practices to improve reporting efficiency.
• Maintain alignment with Group Finance on compliance, audit, and regulatory obligations.
• Proactively manage financial risks and embed controls into FP&A activities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity gains.
