About the role
Al Salama Fire Protection Engineering Consulting seeks an experienced leader to head its Fire Protection Department in Muscat. You will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers and designers while ensuring all fire safety solutions meet local and international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of fire protection engineers and designers.
- Oversee design and review of fire alarm, suppression, and life‑safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and Oman Civil Defence requirements.
- Support fire risk assessments, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Assist business development through proposals and client meetings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fire protection design and consultancy.
- Proven experience leading technical teams.
- CFPS certification preferred.
Required skills
- Fire protection design expertise.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Familiarity with Oman Civil Defence codes.
