Fixed Income Specialist – Market Making (3-5 yrs)

About the role
The Investment Bank is looking for a Fixed Income specialist to join its market‑making team in Muscat. The role focuses on providing liquidity for a portfolio of exchange‑listed fixed‑income securities, rather than client‑flow execution or discretionary risk‑taking.
Key responsibilities
- Live monitoring of quote performance against uptime, minimum size and maximum spread obligations.
- Design and enhance automated execution tools and strategies to optimise daily operations.
- Collaborate with technology, quant‑risk, and relationship‑management teams.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Fixed Income market‑making function.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience in Fixed Income, Treasury, Trading or Fixed Income Sales.
- Demonstrated speed, accuracy, intellect and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to commit to the Middle‑East region and relocate if necessary.
Required skills
- Experience in Fixed Income market making.
- Knowledge of bond pricing, liquidity provision and exchange‑listed securities.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with tech and quant teams.
