Head of Elementary

About the role

The Head of Elementary leads the daily operations of our elementary school, ensuring a safe, effective learning environment for students and staff. Reporting to senior management, this role combines educational leadership with operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day school and office activities, ensuring smooth operations.
• Observe, evaluate, and support educators according to district timelines, providing constructive feedback.
• Design and deliver professional development and training for teaching staff.
• Recruit, hire, and, when necessary, oversee disciplinary hearings for faculty and staff.
• Supervise, hire, and assess performance of clerical, janitorial, and cafeteria personnel.

Required profile

• Proven experience in school administration or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of elementary education standards and district regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make fair personnel decisions and manage conflict.
