Junior Project Support – Interior Design & Construction

About the role

Perla Engineering & Design is looking for a motivated junior professional to join its project team in Masqat, Oman. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the delivery of high‑end interior design, fit‑out and construction projects from concept through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist designers and engineers with design concepts and documentation.
• Prepare presentations, drawings and project files using design software.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on project requirements.
• Gather, organize and maintain project data, timelines and deliverables.
• Support communication with suppliers and contractors under supervision.
• Conduct quality‑control checks and help maintain organized project archives.
• Participate in site visits and inspections as needed.

Required profile

• Foundational understanding of interior design, engineering or construction principles.
• Interest in high‑end commercial and residential spaces.
• Proficiency in basic design or documentation tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar).
• Strong command of MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Previous internship or project‑based experience in design, fit‑out or construction is advantageous but not required.
