Lead TFA – Project & Site Management for Power Generation

About the role

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Technical Field Assistant (TFA) to join its Gas Power Field Services team. The Lead TFA will oversee site activities at customer power‑generating facilities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and to contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and integrate labor, subcontractors, and technical assistants for outage scopes.
• Conduct site walk‑downs to audit contractor work and verify compliance with specifications.
• Manage logistics, ensuring all parts and materials are shipped and available on site.
• Lead on‑site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of power generation equipment.
• Troubleshoot a wide range of equipment vintages, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Execute aftermarket upgrades to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Completed Level III competencies in field services.
• Proven experience managing complex field projects in power generation or related industrial environments.
• Ability to make decisions within defined parameters and act quickly on critical issues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
