Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our property in Muscat. The role involves patrolling, monitoring security systems and assisting guests while ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical‑hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, defuse disturbances and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity logs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews with relevant parties.
• Report vehicle accidents, thefts and other security incidents using proper code responses.
• Follow all company policies, safety training requirements and maintain a professional uniform.

Required profile

• Non‑management position capable of standing, walking or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to lift ≤ 50 lb unaided and ≤ 75 lb with assistance.
• Read and verify information in small print and operate computers/point‑of‑sale systems.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and property reports.
• Comply with any local licensing or registration requirements.
