Oncology Project Manager – Market Access

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking an Oncology Project Manager to lead market access initiatives for its oncology portfolio across Oman. The role will shape access strategies from pre‑registration through post‑launch, ensuring patients receive timely treatment while supporting the company’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive oncology access strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to design pre‑launch and launch market‑access plans.
• Engage payers, key accounts and government bodies to secure reimbursement and patient access.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, mapping decision‑makers and influencers.
• Generate evidence packages using clinical data, health‑economics models, real‑world evidence, systematic literature reviews and meta‑analyses.
• Collaborate on pricing, outcomes‑based agreements and contracting strategies.
• Monitor market trends, identify opportunities and threats, and propose actionable solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical market access, preferably within oncology.
• Strong understanding of the Oman healthcare system and payer landscape.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
