About the role

The Pool Attendant ensures the pool deck and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. This full‑time position supports a fun and relaxing atmosphere while adhering to Marriott’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Promote a fun, upbeat atmosphere and enforce facility rules.
• Monitor recreational activities and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Collect, fold, and stack towels following company guidelines.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Capability to work on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and navigate stairs or ramps.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Basic knowledge of fitness equipment safety.
