Power BI Developer – Reporting & Visualization Specialist

About the role

Bank Muscat is looking for a Power BI Developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of interactive dashboards for banking analytics. The role focuses on translating financial and transactional data into visual insights that support decision‑making across the Business Intelligence Unit.

Key responsibilities

• Develop highly interactive Power BI dashboards on Power BI Report Server for banking analytics.
• Optimize data models and write T‑SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient reporting.
• Implement row‑level security and manage refresh schedules to ensure data integrity.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to improve report usability and collaborate with BIU leads on requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards, preferably in the banking sector.
• Experience with on‑premise SQL Server databases and familiarity with SAS is an advantage.
