Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will join the cable manufacturing team to ensure timely production, maintain quality standards, and lead operators on the shop floor. This role reports to the Production Manager and works closely with planning, logistics, and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily shift meetings to review production status and receive the schedule from planning.
• Allocate daily tasks to operators based on the production plan and priorities.
• Inspect raw materials and in‑process items to verify quality.
• Coordinate with plant logistics to guarantee on‑time delivery of materials.
• Enforce health and safety procedures for all operators.
• Manage operator performance appraisals and leave requests in partnership with the manager.
• Report equipment faults to process and maintenance teams.
• Communicate with stores for material availability and place orders through the Baan ERP system.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Education or Diploma.
• 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably cable production.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Basic people‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using Baan ERP for material ordering.
