Project Manager – Oil & Gas Turnaround

About the role

The Project Manager will act as the Contractor’s single point of contact, ensuring overall coordination, integration, and alignment with the client throughout the turnaround. The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring projects within agreed budget, timeline, and scope while keeping stakeholders informed.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with Company Turnaround Coordinator, operation and discipline leads.
• Coordinate contractor planning, execution, and material readiness activities.
• Ensure contractor compliance with approved turnaround plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Facilitate issue resolution and decision‑making.
• Coordinate readiness reviews, execution meetings, and close‑out activities.
• Give due consideration to HSE matters.
• Consolidate contractor reporting and progress updates.
• Set project timeline, monitor deliverables, and update stakeholders.
• Coach and support project team members on assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical) and membership of an internationally recognized professional institute.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance, turnaround and shutdown management and coordination within an oil & gas company or large contracting organization.
