Relationship Manager – Transaction Banking (Islamic)

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Transaction Banking (Islamic) will lead the acquisition and growth of corporate clients by delivering Shariah‑compliant transaction banking solutions. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, enhancing client satisfaction and promoting digital adoption while ensuring full compliance with Islamic banking principles.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual and team sales targets for Islamic transaction banking products such as trade finance, corporate internet banking, credit cards, POS, payment gateway, liquidity management and B2B payment solutions.
• Source, acquire and onboard new corporate clients, and deepen relationships with existing clients through regular engagement and customized offerings.
• Monitor account profitability, balance pricing strategies and service costs, and propose cost‑effective transaction solutions.
• Cross‑sell and up‑sell the full suite of Islamic transaction banking products to increase multi‑product usage per client.
• Drive awareness, onboarding and usage of digital platforms including corporate internet banking, RDC and B2B solutions.
• Ensure all client interactions, contracts and transactions comply with Shariah guidelines, regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Provide market intelligence, track competitor offerings and collaborate with product teams to enhance Islamic banking products.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (Operations, IT, Compliance, Risk, Product Development) to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Islamic banking principles and Shariah compliance.
• Proven experience in corporate relationship management and transaction banking sales.
• Ability to meet sales and revenue targets and to identify cross‑sell opportunities.
• Understanding of digital banking platforms and willingness to promote digital adoption.
• Excellent risk awareness and ability to work with compliance and risk functions.
