Relationship Officer - Muscat

About the role

The Relationship Officer will manage and grow a portfolio of SME liability accounts in Muscat, identifying income‑generating opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential SME clients, develop business plans and sales budgets, and promote liability products to meet sales targets.
• Manage a portfolio of SME customers, conduct regular reviews, propose solutions, and ensure client retention and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with the Group Credit Policy, operational guidelines, and regulatory requirements; monitor risk exposure and escalate issues.
• Drive process improvement through innovation, automation, and digital solutions; collaborate with internal teams for smooth transaction processing.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for all client activities.

Required profile

• Omani nationality only.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience, preferably in SME Banking, Business Banking, or Retail Relationship Management.
• Experience with liability products, customer acquisition, and portfolio management is preferred.
