Safety Officer – 2-year Contract in Muscat

About the role

Alkhaleej International is seeking five Safety Officers to join its team in Muscat, Oman, on a two‑year contract. The role involves ensuring workplace safety, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment across engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily risk assessments and hazard analyses.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, preparing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures in line with Oman Labour Law.
• Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards.

Required profile

• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Indian nationality with a valid passport.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; experienced candidates should have at least 4 years of safety officer experience.

What we offer

• Full‑time schedule: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
