Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, tax compliance and finance governance across the organization. The role will ensure strong control over accounting processes, SAP S/4HANA systems and support new business initiatives with sound financial guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly and year‑end financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and related reports.
• Maintain GAAP and IFRS compliance, and ensure proper accounting of auxiliary SAP modules.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, GL controls, reconciliations and physical inventory accounting.
• Manage VAT, WHT and corporate income tax compliance, filings, audits and e‑Invoicing requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial performance reporting.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting treatments and mentor junior accountants.
• Monitor tax law changes, identify optimization opportunities and advise management on risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; professional certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, tax compliance and SAP accounting environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and local tax regulations (VAT, WHT, corporate tax).
