Senior Accountant – Trading, Import & Export

About the role

The Joiner is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting functions for its trading, import‑export, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, heavy equipment or logistics operations in Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, month‑end and year‑end closing, and group consolidation.
• Manage general ledger, bank reconciliation, treasury operations, letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Handle VAT compliance, cash‑flow management, accounts payable and intercompany reconciliation.
• Produce MIS reports and support intercompany and group financial reporting.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of accounting experience in relevant industries.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, financial reporting and month‑end/year‑end processes.
• Experience with import‑export accounting, letters of credit and bank guarantees.
