Senior Engineer – IFEC and Cabin Interiors

About the role

The Senior Engineer – IFEC and Cabin Interiors will lead the In‑Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) program for new aircraft and support cabin interior projects. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments and external manufacturers to ensure specifications, delivery, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (CAMO, Maintenance, Product Development, Commercial) and manufacturers to define IFEC configuration specifications for new aircraft programs.
• Manage and monitor all phases of new aircraft IFEC programs – definition, production, and delivery.
• Track and control program budget in partnership with the Finance Department.
• Ensure IFEC products are defined, manufactured, and delivered on time and to airline specifications.
• Coordinate with the Senior Engineer Cabin Interiors and Structures to guarantee seat compatibility with IFE equipment.
• Negotiate contracts with manufacturers to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Participate in meetings across time zones, including outside normal office hours.
• Assist and, when required, act on behalf of the Senior Engineer Cabin Interiors and Structures.
• Comply with HSE regulations and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or ICAO Type II license.
• Minimum 8.5 years of relevant aviation experience.
• At least 2 years of project‑management experience in IFEC.
• Completed relevant IFE and Cabin Connectivity training.

Required skills

• Project management.
• Assessment of technical data and manuals (production documentation, specifications, CMM, AMM, etc.).
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Proficient use of MS Office.
