Senior Finance Director (Part-Time, Hybrid)

About the role

The Senior Finance Director is a part-time, hybrid role overseeing the financial strategy, planning and reporting of Frontiers Law Practice. It is based in Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, Oman, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and budgeting processes
• Review and interpret financial statements and ensure accurate, timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor cash flow, profitability and key financial metrics, providing data-driven insights for executive decisions
• Maintain compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements
• Partner with practice leaders to optimise resource allocation, manage financial risks and support long-term growth
• Improve financial controls and systems

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles within professional services or related sectors
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA or MSc Finance is an advantage
• CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage part-time workloads and prioritise multiple initiatives

Required skills

• Financial planning and budgeting, including scenario analysis and long-range forecasting
• Preparing, reviewing and interpreting financial statements and reports
• Experience with financial systems, ERP tools and spreadsheets
• Solid understanding of tax, compliance and risk management frameworks
