Senior Financial Reporting & Tax Analyst – Telecom

About the role

This senior position is responsible for analysing, reconciling, validating and reporting telecommunications revenue across multiple business streams. The role ensures that billing outputs, revenue reports, customer records, receivables and General Ledger balances are complete, accurate and compliant with IFRS 15 and IFRS 9.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed monthly revenue analysis by product, segment, business unit and technology.
• Perform variance analysis against prior periods, budgets and forecasts and present insights to management.
• Develop revenue schedules, dashboards, KPIs and analytical commentaries for financial reporting.
• Reconcile billing systems, mediation outputs, sub‑ledgers, customer dues and GL balances.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches in coordination with IT, Billing, Revenue Assurance and Business Units.
• Support month‑end accounting entries, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications and adjustments.
• Assist with revenue recognition assessments for telecom products, bundles and multi‑element arrangements under IFRS 15.
• Contribute to IFRS 9 receivables impairment analysis, including ageing and expected credit loss calculations.
• Maintain audit trails, working papers and management sign‑offs for revenue processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or revenue reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 9 standards.
