Senior Investment Fund Operations

About the role

Jabal Asset Management is looking for a senior professional to lead end‑to‑end fund operations across mutual funds, private equity, venture capital and other alternative structures. The role ensures accurate accounting, cash management, NAV calculation and regulatory compliance within Oman’s capital‑market environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new fund launches, liaising with government entities and stakeholders under the firm’s issuer manager licence.
• Maintain fund accounting entries, process subscriptions and redemptions, and manage daily cash and bank reconciliations.
• Calculate and supervise Net Asset Value (NAV) on required frequencies in full compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare operational and financial reports for business units and senior management.
• Interact with auditors, custodians and fund administrators to ensure smooth reporting and compliance.
• Handle regulatory filings on the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) and support media publication of financial statements.
• Respond to investor and unitholder inquiries and keep an accurate unitholder registry.
• Support ongoing compliance, AML and market‑integrity requirements.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented professional with several years of fund operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures, NAV calculation and IFRS reporting.
• Familiarity with Oman’s capital‑market regulations and MSX filing requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams, auditors and regulators.
