Senior Manager – Portfolio & Asset Management

About the role

The Senior Manager – Portfolio & Asset Management will support Asyad Group’s portfolio management function, driving visibility of asset‑level performance and delivering detailed financial and operational analysis. You will work closely with business units, finance teams, operating companies and senior leadership to identify gaps, challenge assumptions and enable value‑creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor performance against budget (revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, capex) and prepare monthly/quarterly asset review packs and dashboards for management and board reporting.
• Review and challenge annual business plans, budgets and forecasts submitted by portfolio companies, validating assumptions and alignment with strategy.
• Perform detailed financial analysis of revenue, margins, cost structure, working capital, cash generation and capital efficiency.
• Identify and prioritize value‑creation opportunities across growth, cost optimisation, asset utilisation and cash improvement; support turnaround plans for under‑performing assets.
• Prepare shareholder materials, track board resolutions and governance matters, and highlight reporting or control gaps.
• Assess capital structure, funding requirements and returns; contribute to capital‑allocation and strategic review discussions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background with significant Financial Due Diligence experience.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders across finance, operations and strategy.
• Comfortable challenging numbers, assumptions and business plans.
• Commercial judgment with the ability to link operational drivers to financial performance.
