Skilled Maintenance Worker - Plumbing, Masonry, Painting & Carpentry

About the role

Burjline Builders is hiring experienced Skilled Maintenance Workers for a facilities maintenance project in Muscat, Oman. Vacancies are available for Plumbers, Masons, Painters and Carpenters; candidates may apply for one specific trade and should state their preferred position in their application.

Key responsibilities

• Plumber: install and repair water-supply and drainage systems, maintain pipes, valves, pumps, sanitary fixtures and water tanks, and fix leaks and blockages.
• Mason: carry out blockwork, plastering, tiling, concrete repair and minor civil works, and repair walls, floors and damaged surfaces.
• Painter: do interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, sanding, putty application and touch-up work, with knowledge of paint types and application methods.
• Carpenter: repair and install doors, cabinets, partitions, ceilings and furniture, working with wood, laminates and standard carpentry tools.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Relevant trade certification or technical training is preferred.
• Experience in airports, catering facilities, hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings, facilities management or industrial environments is an advantage.
• Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, follow workplace safety procedures, work independently on urgent requests and adapt to the project's schedule.
