Solution Architect

About the role

Portolearn is seeking a senior Solution Architect to lead the technical design of its Digital Education Transformation Programme. The role will provide architectural guidance, ensure alignment with business requirements and oversee the integration of multiple platforms across the organisation’s proprietary learning management system.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the approved end‑to‑end solution architecture.
• Review vendor High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Review integration designs across multiple platforms.
• Validate technical vendor deliverables.
• Identify implementation risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Ensure scalability, security, availability and performance requirements are addressed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 12–15 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture or Enterprise Application implementation.
• Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT and IT4IT frameworks is highly preferred.
