Staff Nurse (Occupational Health)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our occupational health team in Oman. The role involves delivering first‑aid, managing workplace injuries, and supporting employee wellness initiatives while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.
• Assess and manage workplace injuries, coordinating referrals when needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee health records.
• Support health and wellness programs, including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Monitor workplace health risks and report occupational hazards.
• Conduct health awareness, first‑aid training, and safety education sessions.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain medical equipment, emergency supplies, and first‑aid kits.
• Assist during health and safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with management and safety teams to promote a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing).
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Nursing Council registration.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience for B.Sc. Nursing or 4 years for GNM.
• Experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or corporate healthcare is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of occupational health and workplace safety regulations.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Trauma Care Certification (ITLS, PHTLS, or equivalent).
• Valid Nursing Council Registration Certificate.
