About the role
We are seeking a senior Systems Architect to lead the design and evolution of core telco systems across enterprise and network domains. The role combines strategic consulting, technical leadership, and business development to drive large‑scale transformation initiatives in the Middle East market.
Key responsibilities
- Define and govern the architectural roadmap for OSS/BSS transformation, cloud‑native migration, and IT infrastructure modernization using frameworks such as TOGAF and TM Forum Frameworx.
- Provide expert guidance on next‑generation network architectures, including 5G/6G Core, RAN, SDN/NFV, edge computing, IoT, network slicing, automation and zero‑touch provisioning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C‑level executives and enterprise clients, delivering market insights, technology roadmaps and monetisation strategies.
- Lead consulting engagements focused on operational efficiency, cost optimisation and new digital revenue streams for B2B telecom customers.
- Partner with sales and GTM teams to shape technical strategies for multi‑million‑dollar bids, RFPs and RFIs, producing winning proposals that demonstrate clear ROI.
- Mentor cross‑functional teams of solution architects, network engineers and business analysts.
Required profile
- Minimum 25 years of progressive experience in telecommunications, with at least 10 years in senior enterprise architecture or CTO‑advisory roles.
- Deep domain expertise in fixed and mobile networks, telco cloud, OSS/BSS, API enablement and data monetisation.
- Proven consulting background with top‑tier firms (Big 4, MBB or major tech consultancies) leading telco transformation programmes.
- Strong pre‑sales and business development track record, closing large, complex telecom/ICT deals.
- Relevant certifications highly desirable (TOGAF, TM Forum eTOM/SID/TAM, ITIL, AWS/Azure/GCP).
