Telecommunications FTTH Project Manager

About the role

The Telecommunications FTTH Project Manager is a full‑time position based in Muscat, offering a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead the planning, execution and delivery of Fiber‑to‑the‑Home projects for Al Jassar Telecom, coordinating internal teams, contractors and telecom clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and allocate resources for FTTH projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external contractors and major telecom operators.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, progress tracking and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
• Resolve field operational issues and optimize processes.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and risk assessments.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align with contractual and performance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to long‑term program objectives.

Required profile

• Strong project management and planning capabilities.
• Program management experience to align multiple related projects.
• Technical expertise in telecommunications, specifically FTTH networks and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of mobile communications and broader telecom technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field; PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
• Proven experience managing telecom or FTTH projects, including field implementation and vendor coordination.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; fluency in English, Arabic knowledge advantageous.
