Valve Testing Inspector

About the role

The Valve Testing Inspector ensures that all valves used in offshore projects meet project specifications, international codes, and client requirements. This role involves thorough inspection, testing, preservation, and documentation of valves throughout the fabrication process.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out incoming inspection of valves to verify material type, size, rating, class, end connections, and compliance with approved datasheets and purchase orders.
• Inspect a variety of valve types including gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, control, choke, and special‑purpose valves used for offshore applications.
• Verify nameplate details, markings, and traceability against material test certificates (MTCs) and bills of material (BOM).
• Ensure valves are suitable for offshore service conditions such as pressure, temperature, and corrosion resistance.
• Perform in‑process inspection, testing, preservation, and maintain accurate documentation within the fabrication yard.
