Bar & Restaurant Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

As the Bar & Restaurant Manager at Six Senses Zighy Bay, you will lead the Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and product quality that align with the brand’s sustainability, wellness, and innovative hospitality values.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including bars and restaurants, and coordinate special events.
• Achieve budgeted revenue targets, control expenses, manage labor costs and maximize profitability.
• Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the F&B department.
• Maintain secure storage of inventory, equipment, and financial transactions.
• Implement purchasing practices that meet Six Senses nutrition and sustainability standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, safety, and brand standards.
• Train and develop staff to adopt a cost‑focused philosophy and uphold service excellence.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Hospitality Management degree or some college preferred.
• 1–3 years of restaurant management experience in a full‑service outlet, preferably within a luxury hotel.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or valid food handler permit as required locally.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel as needed.
