Barista – Premium Coffee Service at Hotel Indigo

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Barista to join Hotel Indigo’s vibrant food & beverage team in Jabal Akhdar, Oman. You will craft premium coffee and specialty drinks while delivering memorable service to our curious guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of premium coffee beverages, teas and specialty drinks.
• Take guest orders, provide friendly service and ensure satisfaction.
• Stay current with coffee trends, brewing techniques and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to pair beverages with menu items.
• Promote and upsell hotel services and products.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately following hotel procedures.

Required profile

• Previous barista experience, preferably in a high‑end hotel or premium coffee shop.
• Deep knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods and latte art.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills with diverse guests.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak periods.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
