Experienced A320 Captain – London Base (UK CAA ATPL)

About the role

Wizz Air UK is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains to operate Airbus A320 family aircraft from its London Gatwick or London Luton bases. The role is ideal for pilots currently flying abroad who wish to return to the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Operate scheduled Airbus A320 family flights for Wizz Air UK.
• Lead the flight deck crew and ensure safe, compliant flight operations.
• Maintain aircraft and flight documentation in accordance with UK CAA regulations.

Required profile

• UK CAA ATPL with unrestricted right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Minimum 3,500 factorized flight hours.
• Valid Instrument Rating (IR) on Airbus A320 (or any type for non‑type‑rated candidates).
• At least 1,000 total hours as Commander on A320 and 500 PIC hours on the A320 family.
• Preferably 300 A320 hours flown in the last 12 months (or recent experience on comparable aircraft).

Required skills

• Airbus A320 type rating.
• Instrument Rating (IR).
• Command (PIC) experience on A320 or comparable CS25 turbojet aircraft.
• UK CAA ATPL licence.
• Factorized flight hour record meeting the minimum threshold.
