Fabrication Operations Manager – Steel Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our steel fabrication shop in Muscat, supporting oil and gas projects. The role oversees production, procurement and project delivery for tanks, pressure vessels, process skids and modular structures.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of a 50+ member fabrication team.
• Plan and control production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Manage procurement of raw materials and coordinate with supply chain.
• Ensure quality and compliance of tanks, pressure vessels, process skids and modular units.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental standards.
• Control budgets and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams on project execution.

Required profile

• 10+ years of steel fabrication experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven track record managing large teams (50+ staff) in a fabrication environment.
• Hands‑on experience with tanks, pressure vessels, process skids and modular construction.
• Strong knowledge of production, procurement and overall fabrication operations.
