General Manager – Luxury Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead Mövenpick Hotel Muscat Bausher. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.
• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team across rooms, food & beverage, sales & marketing and finance.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, corporate leadership and local community partners.
• Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing and business development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, brand standards and company policies.
• Implement quality‑assurance programmes and monitor service excellence.
• Stay informed of industry trends and represent the hotel at events.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality sector.
• Strong track record in strategic planning and project leadership.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial acumen with solid financial management expertise.
• In‑depth knowledge of hotel operations, including rooms, F&B and MICE.
• Familiarity with local regulations and business practices.
• Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
