About the role
The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to senior line management, shaping and executing HR strategies that support business growth within the retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and communicate HR strategy and annual HR plan in partnership with the Business MD, GM HR and Group HR Director.
- Lead talent acquisition, onboarding and induction to ensure new hires become productive quickly.
- Design succession and retention plans for key positions and high‑potential staff.
- Implement performance management processes, support managers with performance reviews and employee exits.
- Coordinate learning initiatives with the Group Training Department and address identified training needs.
- Act as trusted advisor and coach to senior line managers, providing guidance on employee relations, engagement and change initiatives.
- Optimize workforce structure, promote multi‑skilling and support business re‑organisation for efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with localisation policies and report employee cost data to line management.
