HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will report to the Head of People and act strategically to support leaders across SalamAir. Working closely with managers, the role helps drive employee management, workforce planning and organisational objectives within Oman’s low‑cost carrier environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to understand and support business needs.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, organisational design and restructuring initiatives.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Provide guidance on performance management processes and support talent acquisition.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with succession planning and talent development programmes.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain employee records and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent diploma with additional experience).
• Minimum 4 years HR experience (or 8 years with a diploma), including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
• Professional HR certification such as CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate objectives into people strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered productivity platforms.
• Experience using digital HR tools.
