Logistics Freight Coordinator – LNG Project

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Freight Coordinator to support a major LNG bunkering project in Oman. The role will manage domestic and international freight forwarding activities and ensure smooth logistics operations throughout construction, commissioning, startup, and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate air, sea, and land freight forwarding for domestic and international shipments.
• Support daily logistics between suppliers, warehouses, and site teams.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and contractors to guarantee timely delivery.
• Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, AWB, BL).
• Monitor shipment tracking, logistics KPIs, and reporting.
• Assist with customs clearance and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Promote HSE standards and safe logistics practices.
• Participate in logistics cost control and optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with operational, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
• 2–5 years of logistics and freight forwarding experience, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Hands‑on experience with customs clearance and international transportation processes.
• Experience supporting industrial or operational sites is highly preferred.
• Middle East experience and fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) are advantageous.
• Strong commitment to HSE standards and compliance with Oman regulations.
