Logistics & Freight Coordinator – LNG Project (Muscat)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics & Freight Coordinator to support a high‑profile LNG bunkering development project in Muscat, Oman. The role will be based in the Muscat office and will coordinate logistics and freight forwarding activities throughout construction, commissioning, startup, and operational phases.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international freight forwarding (air, sea, and land).
• Support logistics operations for the Sohar site from the Muscat office.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport providers, and suppliers.
• Ensure timely shipment execution and resolve any logistics delays or issues.
• Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, including AWB, BL, invoices, and packing lists.
• Coordinate material movements between suppliers, warehouses, and the site.
• Maintain compliance with HSE standards and Omani regulations.
• Support logistics reporting, KPI monitoring, and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
• Strong hands‑on experience with customs clearance and freight forwarding processes.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical or industrial projects is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
