Public Relations Officer – Government Liaison

About the role

The company is launching a new financial‑markets infrastructure platform in Oman and needs an experienced Public Relations Officer to lead all interactions with Omani government bodies. You will ensure seamless processing of immigration, labour, civil status and corporate registration matters for an international workforce from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Process employment visas, residence cards and dependent visas, including renewals and cancellations.
• Obtain labour clearances, work permits and manage Omanisation reporting and compliance with the Ministry of Labour.
• Renew the company’s commercial registration, Chamber of Commerce certificate and handle related corporate filings.
• Submit corporate documents to authorities as delegated by the Head of Corporate Services.
• Collect, submit and transport original documents to ministries, embassies and other authorities.
• Arrange attestation, notarisation and translation of required documents.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience as a PRO in Oman, preferably within regulated financial services or an international corporate setting.
• Deep knowledge of Omani immigration, labour and corporate registration procedures.
• Established relationships with relevant ministries and authorities.
• Valid Omani driving licence.
• Fluent Arabic and proficient written and spoken English.
