About the Role

Join Wood as a Senior Concept Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy in Oman. You will lead high-impact projects ranging from feasibility studies to FEED and detailed design, focusing on cutting-edge sectors such as liquid hydrogen, fertilizers, and petrochemicals.

Main Missions

• Drive business development activities for feasibility, concept, and pre-FEED studies.
• Evaluate technical options and define design bases, energy infrastructures, and utilities.
• Develop robust business cases by integrating technical expertise with commercial strategy.
• Oversee the development of strategic opportunities within the Oman market.
• Manage complex projects and diverse stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in concept engineering within the Oil & Gas or emerging energy sectors.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to bridge technical engineering and commercial viability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Required Skills

• Expertise in cryogenic technologies, liquefaction, and storage.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and OPEX modeling.
• Deep understanding of midstream, flow handling, and transport processes.
• Advanced project management and conceptual design capabilities.
