Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join its Enterprise Network and Security Services team. The role focuses on delivering end‑to‑end security solutions for industrial customers, acting as the technical leader on‑site and ensuring the security infrastructure supports Schneider Electric applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deliver security solutions for OT and IT environments.
• Represent Schneider Electric as a technical leader during solution deployment.
• Manage solution implementation, perform site visits, and provide customer training.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the delivery organization, gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for inclusion in Schneider Electric security offerings.
• Configure host and network security products, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Oversee network element modifications, installation, and connectivity testing.
• Lead security‑focused application acceptance testing.
• Develop technical documentation and end‑user training materials.
• Conduct technical research to meet evolving security requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with OT Industrial Control Systems.
• 3+ years installing or managing network firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper or equivalent).
• 3+ years of network troubleshooting using sniffers and monitors.
• 3+ years managing intrusion detection products.
• 3+ years advanced Windows Active Directory administration.
• 3+ years implementing host‑based security (antivirus, DLP, host IPS, whitelisting).
• Experience with system backup technologies and high‑availability networking.
• Knowledge of both standard TCP/IP and non‑standard industrial protocols.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
