Senior Scrum Master – Agile Coach

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master and Agile Coach to join our national platform team in Muscat. You will help delivery squads ship faster and more sustainably by removing blockers, sharpening flow, and growing genuine agile maturity across multiple squads.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more delivery squads and coach them to high performance.
• Facilitate core ceremonies such as planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and shield teams from disruptions to maintain focus.
• Coach product owners and teams on backlog health, estimation, and sustainable pacing.
• Use flow metrics (velocity, cycle time, predictability) to drive continuous improvement.
• Scale agile practices across multiple squads, fostering psychological safety and honest retrospectives.
• Partner with project and programme management to align agile delivery with broader plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach on delivery teams that ship software.
• Strong facilitation skills that make ceremonies valuable rather than ritual.
• Coaching mindset – teams improve measurably under your guidance.
• Ability to read team dynamics, build trust, and create safe environments.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience; certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe are a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
