About the role

Huawei Technologies Oman is seeking a senior Vertical Solution Sales Engineer to drive end‑to‑end ICT solutions for the Financial, Oil & Gas, and Government sectors. You will work closely with account managers and technical teams to design, present, and deliver customized solutions that meet complex customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse business scenarios in the Financial, Oil & Gas, and Government sectors and design tailored ICT solutions using Huawei and Western OEM products.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on requirement analysis, solution presentations, proof‑of‑concept demonstrations, and bid support.
  • Coordinate internal and external technical resources to ensure successful solution delivery and project execution.
  • Monitor industry trends and policy updates; develop white papers and benchmark case studies.
  • Support capability building and enhance solution‑selling skills across the sales team.

Required profile

  • 10+ years of experience in ICT solution sales or technical pre‑sales, preferably based in Oman.
  • Strong understanding of the local market, business practices, and Omani culture.
  • Experience working with channel partners and vendors in technical roles.
  • Background with Western OEM brands such as Cisco, VMware, Oracle, Microsoft, or HPE in pre‑sales or solution architecture.
  • Proven track record of solution selling in the Financial, Oil & Gas, or Government sectors.
  • Technical team management experience; previous Tech Lead role is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
