Accountant – Financial Operations & Reconciliation

About the role

This position supports daily financial operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring accurate reconciliation of cash and non‑cash transactions, compliance with audits, and timely preparation of tax and financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and track daily bank deposit slips from restaurants, verifying completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile daily cash sales with bank deposits, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile non‑cash transactions, including aggregator payments, to ensure alignment between reported and collected amounts.
• Conduct spot checks at restaurants in line with company policies to enforce financial controls.
• Review and monitor petty cash across stores and departments, ensuring accurate system recording.
• Prepare and support submission of municipality and tourism tax filings for all regions.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the finance team on cross‑functional initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related business field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
