Accounting Manager

About the role

FUN Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations in Muscat. This full‑time, hybrid role combines financial reporting, journal management, and vendor/customer payment oversight to support the company’s logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements and core finance activities.
• Manage journal entries, general ledger, and period‑end closing processes.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation and asset reconciliation.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to guide business decisions.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and assist internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with operations and management to improve financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Hands‑on experience in logistics, transportation or related industries is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross‑functional coordination.
