Animal Caretaker and Cleaning Maintenance Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Animal Caretaker and Cleaning Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. The role combines daily animal care with thorough cleaning and facility upkeep, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both animals and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily feeding, watering, and health monitoring for all animals.
• Clean animal enclosures, common areas, and related facilities to high hygiene standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the facility in good repair.
• Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report promptly.
• Handle waste disposal in line with health and safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of feed, cleaning supplies, and equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in animal care or professional cleaning/maintenance.
• Strong passion for animal welfare and attention to detail.
• Physically capable of manual labour, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
